The SOG, otherwise known as Society Of Grandmas, is an international group of grannies which, as one member puts it, "don't let the grass grow under their feet". To say that they believe in being active is putting it mildly. When they're not planning their next trip to Miami Beach during Spring Break, they're dabbling in the Stock Market, making deals in the Swap Barn, lobbying the government, or powering up a new enterprise.
This organization was first featured on July 6, 2003, when they announced their latest endeavor, the manufacturing of the Patchwork Horse. One Grandma said that it was a natural extension, since many enjoy the time-honored hobby of quilting in between bouts of snowboarding, hang gliding, and water skiing.
